9 “As for you, my son Solomon, know the God of your father, and serve Him with a loyal heart and with a willing mind; for the Lord searches all hearts and understands all the intent of the thoughts. If you seek Him, He will be found by you; but if you forsake Him, He will cast you off forever. 

9 A ty, synu mój Salomonie, znaj Boga ojca swego i służ mu sercem wiernym i duszą ochotną, bo Pan bada wszystkie serca i rozumie wszystkie zamysły myśli. Jeśli będziesz Go szukał, zostanie przez ciebie znaleziony; ale jeśli Go opuścisz, odrzuci cię na zawsze.

What it Means to Inherit the Kingdom of God

 It means your inheritance is the Kingdom of God

Galatians 5:19–21

What it means to trust Lord Jesus and walk with Him to gain the Kingdom of God.

You do not earn inheritance like you earn a paycheck.

You inherit when you belong to a Family.

When your mother or father dies you come to inheritance just because you are in Family.

Bible treats death of Jesus as that kind of transaction of the way we come to inheritance.

Oznacza to, że twoim dziedzictwem jest Królestwo Boże

Co oznacza zaufanie Panu Jezusowi i chodzenie z Nim, aby zdobyć Królestwo Boże.

Nie zarabiasz na dziedzictwo tak, jak zarabiasz na wypłatę.

Dziedziczysz, gdy należysz do Rodziny.

Gdy umiera twoja matka lub ojciec, otrzymujesz dziedzictwo tylko dlatego, że jesteś w Rodzinie.

Biblia traktuje śmierć Jezusa jako tego rodzaju transakcję, w jaki sposób otrzymujemy dziedzictwo.

Tak więc przynależność do Chrystusa, który należy do Boga, czyni was dziedzicami wszystkiego.

Galatians 3:18

 For if the inheritance depends on the law, then it no longer depends on the promise; but God in his grace gave it to Abraham through a promise.

So this is the concept of inheritance.

The inheritance comes to people not by Law but by the Promise.

Galatians 3:29

If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.

So - if you belong to Messiah Lord Jesus then you are the Abrahams offspring.

So Gentiles come to the Promise by trusting in Lord Jesus Messiah.

Romans 4:13

 It was not through the law that Abraham and his offspring received the promise that he would be heir of the world, but through the righteousness that comes by faith.

So inheritance is summed up here as the World.

Gentiles who belong to Jesus inherit the world.

Galatians 4:6-7

6 Because you are his sons, God sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, the Spirit who calls out, “Abba, Father.” 7 So you are no longer a slave, but God’s child; and since you are his child, God has made you also an heir.

Romans 9:6-8

6 It is not as though God’s word had failed. For not all who are descended from Israel are Israel. 7 Nor because they are his descendants are they all Abraham’s children. On the contrary, “It is through Isaac that your offspring will be reckoned.”8 In other words, it is not the children by physical descent who are God’s children, but it is the children of the promise who are regarded as Abraham’s offspring

So here we have a shift from offspring of Abrahan to Children of God.

Those who trust in the Lord Jesus are counted as Children of God.

We inherit the Kingdom by trusting and belonging to Lord Jesus who is the Son of God.

What is inheritance of the Kingdom of God?

Matthew 5:5

Blessed are the meek,

    for they will inherit the earth.

So all the earth will belong to believers, followers of Jesus.

Matthew 25:34

“Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world.

So Kingdom of God becomes our Kingdom.

As the Children of God we inherit:

earth

world

Kingdom

salvation

promises

Paul sums it all up:

1 Corinthians 3:21-23

21 So then, no more boasting about human leaders! All things are yours, 22 whether Paul or Apollos or Cephas or the world or life or death or the present or the future—all are yours, 23 and you are of Christ, and Christ is of God.

So belonging to Christ who belongs to God makes you heirs of everything.

2 Timothy 2:11-12

11 Here is a trustworthy saying:

If we died with him,

    we will also live with him;

12 if we endure,

    we will also reign with him.

If we disown him,

    he will also disown us;

the peace of God, which transcends all understanding

Final Exhortations

4 Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! 

5 Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. 

6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 

7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Ostatnie napomnienia

4 Radujcie się zawsze w Panu. Powtórzę to jeszcze raz: radujcie się! 

5 Niech wasza łagodność będzie widoczna dla wszystkich. Pan jest blisko. 

6 O nic się nie troskajcie, ale w każdej sprawie, w modlitwie i błaganiu z dziękczynieniem, przedstawiajcie prośby wasze Bogu. 

7 A pokój Boży, który przewyższa wszelkie zrozumienie, będzie strzegł waszych serc i myśli waszych w Chrystusie Jezusie.

Zachowujmy zawsze spokoj w Bogu ufajac ze Stworca będzie strzegł naszych serc i myśli  w Chrystusie Jezusie.

Ephesians 5 - Live as children of light

 List do Efezjan 5 – Żyjcie jako dzieci światłości

Piękne, spokojne jest życie osoby Zbawionej w Chrystusie.

8 For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light 

9 (for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness and truth) 

10 and find out what pleases the Lord. 

11 Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them. 

12 It is shameful even to mention what the disobedient do in secret. 

13 But everything exposed by the light becomes visible—and everything that is illuminated becomes a light. 

14 This is why it is said:

“Wake up, sleeper,

    rise from the dead,

    and Christ will shine on you.”

15 Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, 

16 making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. 

17 Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is. 

18 Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit, 

19 speaking to one another with psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit. Sing and make music from your heart to the Lord, 

20 always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

8 Bo niegdyś byliście ciemnością, ale teraz jesteście światłością w Panu. Postępujcie jak dzieci światłości

9 (bo owocem światłości jest wszelka dobroć, sprawiedliwość i prawda)

10 i badajcie, co podoba się Panu.

11 Nie miejcie nic wspólnego z bezowocnymi uczynkami ciemności, ale raczej je ujawniajcie.

God’s Marvelous Plan for the Gentiles

Cudowny plan Boga dla narodów świata, które nie były Hebrajczykami.

 Surely you have heard about the administration of God’s grace that was given to me for you, that is, the mystery made known to me by revelation the mystery of Christ, 

5 which was not made known to people in other generations as it has now been revealed by the Spirit to God’s holy apostles and prophets. 

6 This mystery is that through the gospel the Gentiles are heirs together with Israel, members together of one body, and sharers together in the promise in Christ Jesus.

to make plain to everyone the administration of this mystery, which for ages past was kept hidden in God, who created all things. 

10 His intent was that now, through the church, the manifold wisdom of God should be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly realms, 

In him and through faith in him we may approach God with freedom and confidence. 

13 I ask you, therefore, not to be discouraged because of my sufferings for you, which are your glory.

Słyszeliście zapewne o udzieleniu mi łaski Bożej dla was, to jest o tajemnicy objawionej mi przez objawienie tajemnicy Chrystusa, 

5 która nie była znana ludziom w poprzednich pokoleniach, tak jak teraz została objawiona przez Ducha świętym apostołom i prorokom Bożym.

6 Ta tajemnica polega na tym, że przez ewangelię poganie są współdziedzicami Izraela, współczłonkami jednego ciała i współuczestnikami obietnicy w Chrystusie Jezusie.

aby wszystkim objawić udzielnie tej tajemnicy, która przez wieki była ukryta w Bogu, który wszystko stworzył.

10 Jego zamiarem było, aby teraz, przez kościół, wieloraka mądrość Boża została objawiona zwierzchnościom i władzom w okręgach niebieskich,

W Nim i przez wiarę w Niego możemy zbliżać się do Boga z wolnością i ufnością.

13 Proszę was zatem, abyście się nie zniechęcali cierpieniami, które znoszę dla was, bo to jest właśnie waszą chwałą.
